Hotel as a whole is good standard, I really enjoyed it.
There are great prices in the property. I would say it's nice comfy base for staying and exploring Belmar. The location is great and fantastic, very close to beach. Plus, this hotel is so close to restaurants, Belmar Inn for a short visit to Jersey Shore, and center.

The old-fashioned hotel was straightforward. I had the a double room which was light filled and reasonably spacious with 2 beds. Central heating, a safe box and multi-channel TV were good.
Everything great!

For families looking for a fun time
We enjoyed having breakfast on the porch every morning, just looking at the beach a block away. The staff were friendly and always willing to help with where to find good food around town
It wasn't exactly cheap but for the experience it was acceptable.

Location is great, just one block from the ocean. The bed was comfy, and the air conditioning was solid. Room had a fridge, tv, and free Wi-Fi. The private bathroom was clean enough, even if the decor was a bit dated. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Overall a cozy vibe!

The excellent ocean views from the balconies make for a great spot to catch some sun. The large communal lounge area has potential for gatherings, with lots of natural light streaming through the windows.
The bathroom resembles something from a different era, and the shower is tighter than a Wookiee in a cockpit-definitely not ideal for everyone. Electronics in the room can be finicky. Several outlets don't work. Issues like a musty smell in the room and the lack of proper window coverings could leave some guests feeling a bit underwhelmed.

Had a lovely stay with my family, enjoying fresh donuts from Dunkin' every morning and lounging on the nice porch. The kids loved being able to grab ice, coffee, and tea anytime. Just a heads up, two outlets in our room didn't work, but it didn't ruin our time at all 😊
